Service Policy

Last updated: June 2026

This Service Policy applies to all Done-For-You (DFY) services purchased from IncorpMe. It describes what is included in each service, what we need from you as a client, how work is delivered, and how we handle third-party dependencies such as government processing times. By purchasing a DFY service, you agree to the terms in this policy.

1. Scope of Services

The specific services included in your purchase are listed on the relevant service page at checkout and confirmed in your intake form. Depending on the package, DFY services may include:

  • Wyoming (or selected state) LLC formation and Articles of Organization
  • Employer Identification Number (EIN) application for non-residents via IRS fax method
  • Registered agent setup for your first year of compliance
  • Operating agreement template customized to your LLC
  • Guidance materials for US business banking eligibility (Mercury, Relay, Stripe, etc.)
  • Annual report reminders and compliance calendar

If a specific service is not listed in your package at the time of purchase, it is not included and may be available as an add-on.

2. Services Not Included

Unless explicitly stated in your purchased package, the following are not included:

  • Tax preparation, tax filings, or tax planning (federal or state)
  • ITIN (Individual Taxpayer Identification Number) applications
  • Bookkeeping, accounting, or financial statement preparation
  • Business bank account opening — we provide eligibility guidance, but banks make their own approval decisions and IncorpMe cannot guarantee account approval
  • Trademark, copyright, or other intellectual property filings
  • Immigration advice, visa sponsorship, or work authorization
  • Ongoing BOI (Beneficial Ownership Information) report updates after initial formation (initial filing guidance may be included — check your package)
  • Any state or government fee not expressly included in your package price

3. Your Responsibilities as a Client

To deliver your service accurately and on time, we require your cooperation. You agree to:

  • Complete your intake form truthfully and in full. Provide accurate names, addresses, and business information as you want them to appear on official government documents. Errors in intake that result in refiling costs are your responsibility.
  • Respond promptly to information requests. If we need additional clarification or documents, please respond within 3 business days. Delays in your response will extend your service timeline.
  • Provide valid identification when required. The IRS EIN process for non-residents requires a valid government-issued ID. Failure to provide this will prevent us from completing the application.
  • Notify us of any changes. If information you submitted changes (e.g., you decide to change the LLC name or add a member) before filing, notify us immediately. Changes after submission may require amended filings at additional cost.
  • Download and store your documents. Completed documents are delivered to your client portal. You are responsible for downloading and securely retaining official formation documents, EIN confirmation letters, and operating agreements.

4. Estimated Service Timelines

The following timelines are estimates from the date your complete intake form is received. They are not guarantees, as government processing times vary and are outside our control.

  • LLC formation (standard): 3–10 business days (varies by state and current secretary of state processing load)
  • EIN via IRS fax (non-resident method): 4–8 weeks (IRS processing time — we submit promptly, but IRS response times fluctuate seasonally)
  • Registered agent activation: Same day or next business day after formation is confirmed
  • Document delivery to your portal: Within 1 business day of receiving confirmation from the relevant agency

We will keep you updated on progress through your client portal. If there are unusual government delays, we will notify you and provide an updated estimate.

5. Communication and Support

All service updates, document deliveries, and status notifications are provided through your client portal at portal.incorpme.com. For questions, contact us at support@incorpme.com. Our team aims to respond within 1 business day, Monday through Friday, excluding public holidays.

We do not offer real-time phone support. All service communication is handled via email and your client portal to ensure a clear, documented record of your case.

6. Third-Party Processing and Government Delays

LLC formation and EIN issuance require action from government agencies, including state secretaries of state and the IRS. IncorpMe is not responsible for:

  • Government processing delays or backlogs
  • LLC name rejections due to conflicts with existing registered names (we perform a basic availability check, but state databases update in real time)
  • Changes in government fees, forms, or procedures after your purchase
  • IRS delays in EIN issuance, including seasonal or policy-driven slowdowns

In the event of a name conflict, we will notify you immediately and work with you to select an alternative at no additional cost.

7. Service Guarantee

We stand behind the quality of our work. If IncorpMe submits incorrect information due to our own error — not based on information you provided — we will correct or refile the affected document at no cost to you. This includes errors such as a misspelled member name (where your intake was correct), wrong state selection, or incorrect registered agent details (where these were our responsibility).

This guarantee does not cover corrections arising from information you submitted inaccurately, or changes you request after documents have been submitted to a government agency. See our Refund Policy for financial remedy terms.

8. Amendments After Submission

If you request changes to your LLC after documents have been submitted to the state (such as a name change or member update), amendment filings with the state will be required. These amendments involve additional state filing fees and IncorpMe service fees, quoted at the time of the request.

9. Confidentiality

The information you provide during intake is used solely to complete your service and as described in our Privacy Policy. We treat all client information as confidential and do not disclose it except as required to deliver your service or comply with applicable law.

10. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Service Policy from time to time. Material changes will be communicated via email or your client portal. Changes do not affect services already in progress at the time of the update.
